“Very nice hotel in a quite zone”

Beschreibung: 5 of 5 starsReviewed 24 October 2011

We stayed only one night, coming by car from Fethiye. We arrived a bit late, so we lost a free tea time. It was a pity but we really lovedi this quite small hotel where every particular is cared.
We booked Keramos room, a very nice room with a balcony facing Yalikavak.
The room is very large and nice, only the bathroom is not very modern, but in general it is a very nice place to stay.
There is free wi-fi, a very good breakfast cooked individually for you and a wonderful relaxing view over the city and the wonderful swimming pool.
It is located a bit outside the center, but it is 2 minutes by car.

It isn't cheap, that's for sure, but Yalikavak is a bit expensive compared to other cities in this area and we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Not sure about other rooms, but Keramos is very nice

“Highest Recommendation”

Beschreibung: 5 of 5 starsReviewed 16 October 2011

The property provides stunning views of the Yalikavak Bay from both the rooms and the lovely terrace overlooking the pool. The rooms are handsome rather than elegant but clean, comfortable, and spacious with generous porches perfect for relaxing.
The guest experience is exceptional because the owner/innkeepers are charming, efficient, hardworking, and delightful. Can't say enough good things about Maria and Tosun. You will feel like you've been welcomed into the family. Lavanta was easily the best lodging experience of our three week visit to Turkey.

“Exceptional”

Beschreibung: 5 of 5 starsReviewed 16 October 2011

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We stayed in one of the self-catering apartments with an exceptional view over Yalikavak bay and peninsula. The breakfast provided at Lavanta was outstanding, as were the cakes baked daily by Maria and served (complimentary) at 5pm everyday. Maria and Tosun who run the hotel are extremely friendly and welcoming and have excellent knowledge of the surrounding area, on several occasions lending us books, maps and magazines so that we could make the most of our trip. There is plenty to see and do in the area and the friendly staff are happy to help book trips for scuba diving, boat trips or whatever else takes your fancy! The garden is beautiful and the pool large and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

“Truly wonderful...”

Beschreibung: 5 of 5 starsReviewed 16 October 2011

Beautifully situated with stunning views of the ocean and peninsula. The garden is totally amazing and blooming with flowers. Maria and Tosun are not just a very lovely couple, they are also very attentive and are always on hand to offer great advice about sightseeing in the local area. There is plenty to do in the local area including sea fishing, snorkeling, hiking or visiting ancient monuments, but one can equally just relax by the large and well kept pool.

Room Tip: All rooms have a great ocean view, therefore they are all highly recommendable.

A Garden of Eden”

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

A beautiful place with a paradisal garden, a great swimming pool to spend your time in and around and an amazing view over the Bay of Yalikavak. The rooms are lovingly furnished and the friendliness of the staff is outstanding, the service excellent. But the true soul of the place are Maria and Tosun, who will look after you attentively and treat you like friends of the family.

Only 45 minutes away from Bodrum-Milas airport, 10 mi. (15 Km) from Bodrum and 0.75 mi. (1.2 Km) from Yalikavak centre.:

Road directions: From the airport there are road signs how to come to Bodrum and to Yalikavak. Take direction Bodrum. Short before arriving to Bodrum, there is a deviation turning to right with a sign saying Yalikavak. After the deviation you drive through the little villages of Torba and Gundogan, a ride through a forest of around 20 km. However, if you miss this sign, the road going through Bodrum leads also to Yalikavak. When you come in Yalikavak you'll arrive in a round about. Drive around 100 meters (not more) literally down to Yalikavak, turn to left (there is our sign on the left side of the road) and drive down the large, asphalted road. On the next two junctions turn left, next right ( there are Lavanta signs all the way). Summary: three times left. one time right. Just for the case: our phone nr. is 0252 3852167.
